Two friends, one rule, eleven crews.
Harlow & Pine began with a hatchback, borrowed supplies and a promise that the same person would show up every time.
How it started.
Maya Harlow and Daniel Pine met cleaning offices at night while they were in college. It was tiring, steady work, and they noticed the best-run teams had one thing in common: the same people, every night, who knew the building.
In 2018 they started taking homes on weekends. They kept the rule from the office days. Every home gets the same crew every visit, and the crew is paid well enough to stay.
Word of mouth did the rest. Neighbors told neighbors, and the weekend side job became a company.
Our timeline
Growing without losing the rule.
- 2018
Maya and Daniel take their first weekend homes in Austin with one hatchback and borrowed supplies.
- 2020
The first full-time crew joins. Customers start asking for the same two people by name.
- 2021
Round Rock opens with three crews, built from referrals in the first month.
- 2024
Phone calls and spreadsheets stop scaling. Booking, rescheduling and reminders move online.
- 2026
Georgetown opens, and a waitlist of nearly forty households starts forming in Pflugerville.
